Generally, we default to the most protective standards of handling such information, which at present tend be the rules applied to the EEA and UK.

3B. DO RESIDENTS OF CANADA HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?

  • Legal Compliance: We may share information if required to do so by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of otherWise, our community members, or others.

We do not sell your personal information.

We will keep your personal information for as long as:

When we no longer have a legitimate ongoing need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it. If immediate deletion is not possible (for example, due to backup archives), we will securely store and isolate your information from any further processing until deletion becomes possible.

We aim to retain only the minimum necessary information, for the minimum necessary time, respecting your privacy and our mutual relational commitments. Realistically speaking, however, we are a small team and we are not constantly combining though these lists.

In Short: We implement reasonable measures to protect your personal information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

We have adopted organizational and technical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Aiming to operate intentionally under a transparent set of digital ethics

8. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

In Short: We currently do not respond to “Do-Not-Track” (DNT) browser signals.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected.

At this time, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. Therefore, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. That said, we are not intentionally making efforts to actively track you.

If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will update this privacy notice accordingly.

In Short: Yes, we update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws and to reflect any changes in our practices.
